Following his induction last week into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame, Daniel Lanois performed two shows in Toronto’s Black Box Theatre. The gigs took place in the basement of the Great Hall, creating a bit of a house-party vibe.

Lanois played on a stage in the round, 3 sets representing different aspects of what he does and loves: a DJ set of ambient dub and drum ‘n’ bass (tracks from a forthcoming project), one with drummer Brian Blade and bassist Jim Wilson, and lastly an after party with hand-picked Jamaican Dub.
Accompanying the music were art films made by Lanois and his camp.
