This summer, the inaugural Catalpa Festival will hit the streets of New York City, and its first edition boasts a solid crop of headlining acts.

Set for July 28-29 at Randall’s Island, near Manhattan, the show features a versatile set of acts, including headliners the Black Keys, TV on the Radio, Snoop Dogg (who will be performing Doggystyle in its entirety), Felix da Housecat, Umphrey’s McGee, AraabMuzik, The Big Pink, City and Colour, and Fort Atlantic, with many other acts to be announced soon.

Passes for the weekend’s festivities will run you $99 (for Early Bird pricing), $139.99 (advanced sales) and $179.99 (regular pass), so it’s one of the more affordable festivals around.

In terms of “other” attractions, Catalpa will be unique in that it will also feature a “silent disco” tent (where patrons wear headphones and party en masse alone-but-together), bumper cars, and an inflatable church.
