Over the weekend, Jack White paid a visit to the NBC studios in New York, playing two songs on the Lindsay Lohan-hosted episode of Saturday Night Live.
In his typically oddball fashion, White’s first performance (of the single Love Interruption) featured an all-female backing band, while the second (Sixteen Saltines) utilized the skills of an all-male troupe behind him.
Both tracks will be featured on his upcoming album Blunderbuss, and if they’re a sign of what’s to come with the album, this may be another highlight in White’s lengthy list of career accomplishments.
