Just as the show did with Pink Floyd, Late Night with Jimmy Fallon will celebrate the Boss with a special themed week, kicking off on Monday, February 27.
That first night, Bruce & the E. Street Band will start the festivities, and will book-end the week with a return engagement on Friday March 2nd. Springsteen & the band will be the only guests on the final show, with an interview preceding the band’s multiple performances.
On Tuesday, country star Kenny Chesney will stop by for a rendition of I’m On Fire, from Born in the U.S.A.
Elvis Costello will appear on Thursday’s program to play the song Brilliant Disguise (from Tunnel of Love), and will be backed by Fallon’s house band, The Roots.
The week is designed to ramp up excitement for Wrecking Ball, which will be released the following Tuesday, March 6. As previously reported, practically the entire album is now available for streaming online.
