The 12th year of Teenage Cancer Trust concerts at the Royal Albert Hall is set to be an exciting one, with Paul McCartney lending his band to the line-up for the first time.
Roger Daltrey, an avid supporter and patron of the foundation for nearly 20 years, will again be a part of this year’s fundraiser.
“Over the years I have met many young people with cancer and like Teenage Cancer Trust, I believe that they shouldn’t have to stop being teenagers just because they have this disease. They have helped me understand that they are young people first, cancer patients second, and I am always struck by their enthusiasm, positivism and their lust for life.”
– Roger Daltrey
As well as a solid week of great entertainment there will be music education and art workshops offered for the afflicted teens, surely boosting their spirits with the opportunity to work with a few of their heroes.
