As already reported, The Shins’ new record Port of Morrow is due out on March 20th, and as such some new songs are making their way online.
Earlier this week, September, the delightful b-side to the initial single Simple Song, was released. Hear it below.
In addition, Shins songwriter/focal point James Mercer also performed a solo acoustic version of a new tune called It’s Only Life. The recording isn’t the best, but it does its job.
