Apparently, the newly-reunited Beach Boys will share the stage at this weekend’s Grammy Awards with Foster the People and Maroon 5.
As Consequence of Sound points out, this year’s event will be marked by collaborative performances – the Foo Fighters are teaming up with DJ Deadmau5, and Lil’ Wayne, Chris Brown and David Guetta are expected to collaborate as well.
However, not every artist nominated this year felt compelled to team up for some genre-blending collaboration – Bon Iver, up for four separate awards, opted against performing because they didn’t vibe with the forced-collaboration with another act.
The rest, though, will go on as planned. Tune in at 8:00 PM EST on Sunday, February 12 to watch it all go down…or don’t, it’s your decision after all.
