Elvis Costello & the Imposters are preparing to head out on a big UK tour soon.

Dubbed the Spectacular Spinning Songbook, the trek will begin on May 9th in Dublin, Ireland and carry on throughout the month until the 27th in Basingstroke, UK.

As the band has been doing throughout 2011, at each show a few audience members will assist in the selection of the set list via a giant spinning wheel. As Costello’s site details,

An overture of five uninterrupted rock and roll tunes announces Elvis Costello & the Imposters to the stage, after which members of the audience are invited to spin the gigantic vaudevillian contraption and select the next song.
